Man, what is going on at City Hall.  I was a big supporter of Mayor Funkhouser and was excited when he won the election.  With the events of the last year it has made me question my support.  Now I see a diary by Mrs. Funkhouser that really makes me wonder.

If we agree or disagree with city hall they are still our elected officials until the next election cycle comes up.  I have not met Mayor Funk, but I do like how he appears to be an ordinary person when he is out and about.  Just the fact that he seems to have some common sense with the car he drives (not some big fancy Lincoln) does make me like him.  I like ordinary people who try to do the right thing while serving their community.

I just saw a new headline that said Mayor Funkhouser's attorney advised him to stay mum.  That is pretty good advise for anyone that is involved in any type of law suit.

The weather sure does not feel like the middle of July.  I'll take it.
