This is a tiny blog about Soda...

I happen to love it. All types. But what I hate about it the most is the trash and recycleable issues that come up with it.

I've found a home soda machine from http://www.sodaclubusa.com (no worries, I make no money off them!) It's great! I really love it. Been using it for months now, and the syrups are pretty good, and the energy drink is like Diet RedBull !!

The problem is, the soda syrup you buy from them is mostly generic. They're GOOD, but they're NOT Coke or 7-UP!!

I've found a way to get the same soda syrup that bars and restaurants get from the manufacturers... trouble is, I have to get it in 5 GALLON  bag-in-a-box. Those of you that have worked in fast food, bars and restaurants know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

I'm actually trying to find locals from KC that want to purchase their soda WAYYYY cheaper than they normally get it. If we get enough interest, I'll buy the bulk soda syrup and distrubute it at MY COST!

Now that means if you have the same machine I have, or a similar one that accepts syrup.

If you're interested in even discussing these things, I'd love to have ya at my new yahoo club I created yesterday just for this discussion.

Chances are, this won't work. But I'm an eternal optomist... or at least I want to be one!

If you're interested, let's talk!

I tried the "Breakmates" soda syrup, and it's OK ... still, the cost on the LITER size diet coke was $4.50... but the mix is totally different than the SodaClub's syrup. You end up using twice as much, and the taste wasn't that good. If you use the REGULAR syrup straight from the manufacturer, the cost breaks down to about half what I paid for the breakmates...
